About

Driven. Creative. Passionate.

After a career working as an employment solicitor, (a job I liked but I didn’t LOVE) I left law for a new career - not knowing exactly what that looked like.

Having always played an active part in the marketing and communications for the law firms I had worked in, I quickly realised that I had the right skills to move into a career in communications and began building my experience and a new career.

Initially working within the education sector led to a senior position working for a new charitable education trust in South Yorkshire. Here, I set up and led their communications, marketing and press functions – building it from scratch. After running a number of high-profile PR and communications campaigns I knew that this was what I was meant to do.

Following that I worked within the PR, communications and marketing team at Leeds Arts University (formerly Leeds College of Art). Here I developed and led their media relations. I was responsible for all PR activity across the entire university, such as major university announcements, promotion of all exhibitions, student, alumni and artist success stories.

As a freelance PR and communications consultant, I love the independence and variety it offers me. I am proud to be currently working with practising artists, small businesses and start-ups, across the UK.

Take a look at of some of the testimonials from people I have worked with.

With many years of experience working in the arts, education, independent business, legal and charitable sectors, I am versatile and able to turn my hand to working for clients in various industries. Get in touch to find out how I can help you.
